Barclays Premier League winners Manchester city lost three goals to nill to FA CUP winners Arsenal in the community shield decided today. Arsenal dominated the game throughout as there counterpart struggled to compete with the gunners dominance. Arsenal took the lead as Spanish international Santi Carzola was fed with the ball in edge
of the area and slotted it home comfortably into the bottom corner in the 21th minute of play in the first half. Arsenal further pushed on to grab the second which they did, and thanks to a clinical finish from the Wales international Aaron Ramsey shortly before the interval to make it two nill. City fought tiredlessly to grab a comeback goal but to no avail as Arsenal substitute Olivier Giroud snatched the winner with a stunning and outstanding goal to seal the win.
