THE EMIRATE CUP BEGINS WITH ARSENAL THRASHING BENIFICA 5 - 1 AS SANOGO SCORES FOUR

What an impressive start for the gunners in the Emirate cup as they thrashed Benifica by 5 goals to 1. Thanks to their french under 21 forward Yaya Sanogo as he slotted home four goals with joel campbell of costa rica also recording his name on the score sheet by grabbing a goal also. The french under 21 forward who have made 14 appearances forthe gunners last season but could not find the back of the net made history for himself by scoring four remarkable goals that prove his improvement with the team and as a striker. Yaya Sanogo who came to Emirate last year on a free transfer thou has not really shown much impact on the team was the hero for today's match after banging a decisive hat trick for the team to prove the winner of the match against there counterpart.Among the players players that also featured for today match from the new signings is Chile International Alexis Sanchez. Thou he came off the bench 15 minutes to full time to replace the Costa rica Intenational Joel Campbell. Sanchez who could not record his name on the score sheet by not finding the back of the net had an impressive play, lovely run with the ball which prove his impact in the club. Calum Chambers which was among the recent Arsenal signing from Southampton this season also performed very well as he prove some impressive display from the central back. A lot of Arsenal fan might be expecting Chile International Alexis Sanchez to a surprise win, but the surprise now have to be Yaya Sanogo. A nice scoreline for the gunners and a great start ahead for the premier league with them having a community shield to play next week against the citizens Manchester city of England. The players list that featured are Martinez, Bellerin, Chambers, Monreal (Miquel 73), Gibbs,, Flamini (Coquelin 59), Ramsey (Arteta 59), Oxlade-Chamberlain (Cazorla 46), Rosicky (Wilshere 59), Campbell (Sanchez 73), Sanogo (Akpom 73)Arsenal next match will be against Monaco tomorrow.
